This is a well articulated piece. I hope the Lagos State government get to see this and adopt the plans therein. Lagos will be a much better city with less traffic. Bravo 👍🏼

This is an interesting piece! It got me thinking about the possibilities that can be unlocked around lagos traffic.. Are you open to having a one on one to further discuss this topic? I look forward to reading more from you. Thank you!

This is a great piece and has been thought of very well but would the government be willing to give up that much? Even if they do and charge companies operating license fees, we all know it’ll probably go to a “friend” of whoever is in charge. The reason why I bring this up is because Nigeria had the opportunity to be one of the first African countries to have its own mobile communication systems in the late 90’s/early 00’s the founders were jailed as Nitell was the main reason. 15 years down the line mtn arrived and so did glo (we all know who the founders father was). It would be a great thing if the government would try and welcome this but let’s just hope that thorough research is done prior to its introduction.
Such an interesting perspective on the relationship between transportation, economic infrastructure, and competition law. There certainly needs to be a deregulation of BRT in Lagos to open up the market and allow private companies to create a more efficient and competitive transportation economy.

Very well written piece. Gave the insight to the problem and solutions proposed. I would love to see it in action
Excellently written and well thought out Temidayo.
The effect of this if implemented can influence the much needed innovation in all other means of Transportation too. Really good. Thank you.
